Hello! It has been about a month since my last post, but I have a good reason. Business has been booming! I would like to thank all of my clients! It has been a successful summer! I have been booked every weekend and I have had some fantastic clients! I have met a lot of wonderful people and I cannot wait to see what the future brings!
This past August alone, I have photographed everything from weddings, high school seniors, newborns, children, families and maternity sessions! Currently, I have a great Fall Mini Session promotion coming up in October. Please check it out here.
Here is a look at some of my work from August! September is looking busy too!
July was such a busy month for me and August is looking that way too! I recently had the pleasure of meeting Taraé and her family at Norris Reservation in Norwell, Mass.
Norris Reservation is a 129-acre woodland park that features two miles of hiking trails, a beautiful boat house on the North River, two ponds and plenty of spots for picture opportunities. I love photographing at this location – I cannot wait for my next shoot there! It is going to be gorgeous in the fall!
The minute I met Taraé, I knew that the shoot was going to be amazing. Taraé and her husband, Justin, are quite creative and have a wonderful bond. Their daughter Sophia is a sweetheart (she ended the shoot by telling me she loved me.) Taraé is a make-up artist and her make-up came out perfect! I had a great time with this family and I cannot wait to work with them again in the future!
Yesterday, I photographed two maternity sessions at my favorite park on the South Shore of Massachusetts – World’s End in Hingham. This property is a large, 251-acre peninsula that has 4.5 miles of trails. The Boston skyline is visible from this park and it has a great variety of scenery – tall grasses, old tall trees, and rocky shores. It is the perfect place to take photos in my opinion.
Here is a sneak peek of my sessions with Johanna and Veronica! Both are beautiful, glowing and full of life. I wish you both a happy delivery!
Here is a look at my family portrait session with Janis, Jason and their two little girls at Ames Nowell State Park in Abington, MA. They were such a great family to photograph – and their daughters are gorgeous! It was such a beautiful day – warm, but not too hot. I had a great time with them all-around.
A few weeks ago, I met with Sara at Nantasket Beach in Hull to take her senior portraits. It was quite foggy, but you wouldn’t know it by looking at the photos. This beach, in particular, is very special to Sara and her family.
Sara was a great model! She was willing to try any pose I threw her way. I even got some portraits of her with her sister and friends – who came along.
More of the friends portraits will come soon – I PROMISE! (They are great group of girls!)
I am currently accepting bookings for senior portraits. Don’t wait too long to book, as space is filling up! My Senior Portrait package is $75 – you get a 1 hour session, one clothing change, 20 digital images (with print release) and a 8×10 of your choice.
Here are some of my favorites with Sara! Congrats again on your graduation!
Several weeks ago, I got to photograph Maxine for her Maternity Session at World’s End Park in Hingham, MA. It was a gorgeous day. Maxine was glowing the entire time. She wore a beautiful white tulle tu-tu that added such a soft and romantic look to her photos. I enjoyed working with Maxine and her family (Jose, Mia and JWD). I look forward to meeting your little baby boy at his newborn photo shoot!
Today’s TBT is in honor of Haley & Mike who are (FINALLY) tying the knot tomorrow! I was honored to take their engagement pictures on Rexhame Beach in Marshfield, MA last May. Wow…time flies by so quickly!
CONGRATS and GOOD LUCK on your big day tomorrow! I am so excited and happy to witness your special day!
Sorry for being MIA! With four photo shoots this past weekend – I have been VERY busy!
Here is a recap of my whirlwind weekend!
My first task was a senior portrait session with Sarah at Nantasket Beach in Hull, MA. It was a very foggy afternoon, but I got some amazing shots! Believe it or not, I always like to do outdoor shoots with an overcast sky. The lighting is not too harsh – therefore no crazy shadows appear on the face. Sarah was very enthusiastic for her photo shoot. She was willing to try anything that I asked her to do. I absolutely love how her photos came out – Very beachy, bright and clean. Congrats on your graduation Sarah!
My next session was a 1st Birthday Portrait/Cake Smash Session with Taryn – who just may be one of the happiest babies in the world. We started off with some outdoor portraits with her parents and then some more formal ones with my pink and white backdrop inside. Her mom had so many great props for us to use! She gets an A+ for effort. The cake smash was shortly after. Cake Smash sessions are my favorite to shoot. They are so messy and the babies are so much fun to watch! Happy 1st Birthday Taryn!
My third session was with a beautiful baby girl for her Newborn Portraits. The parents love music and brought a few props that I have never worked with before – a mini piano and a couple of guitars. They too get A+’s on their props. I loved the idea of incorporating their love of music into the shoot. The baby looks so beautiful and sweet on the piano. I am thankful for the opportunity to use these props. They really make the shoot one to remember. Welcome to the world little one!
Last weekend, I also got to do a fabulous Maternity Session with Maxine at World’s End in Hingham, MA. She worn a beautiful, white tulle Tu-Tu. I will do a separate post on that one soon!
Last weekend, I got to photograph this young man for his third birthday! His mom wanted to incorporate his love for trains (Thomas) and books – Doesn’t he look so cute with his train whistle? Happy Birthday little guy!
